October 17, 2008 In an effort to keep ANAK programming going for 2009, ANAK held its “Freestylin’ Friday” fundraising social in downtown Winnipeg. Featuring Winnipeg’s own SWIGFU, the event was a success. ANAK would like to thank everyone who came out and especially SWIGFU for performing.
“All the funds we raise we are proud to return to the youth in our community!” says ANAK. “Our Kapatid Mentorship program is now expanding onto the elementary and junior high levels and we hope it will be as successful as our high school program. It’s so great to see such support!”
