ANAK awarded its annual Liwayway Scholarship for Leadership Excellence to recent high school graduates Marisolle Negash (Elmwood High School) and Janine Urbano (Sisler High School). Both took part in a city-wide competition which included both an extensive essay and interview. We at ANAK would like to thank all those who applied. We continue to be inspired by the young Filipino-Canadian leaders of today!
A special mention belongs to Anthony Ngayan (Daniel McIntyre Collegiate) who was awarded the ANAK Book Award.
