In cooperation with the Philippine Heritage Council of Manitoba and UM Sigaw, ANAK is pleased to invite the public to a free screening of award winning documentary, '12', by Filipino-Canadian film maker, Lester Alfonso. The screening will take place Monday, June 6 at DMCI Multipurpose Room (720 Alverstone) from 6pm to 8pm.
'12' explores the diverse experiences of migrants past and present who arrived in Canada at the tender age of 12. Winner of the 2008 Reel Diversity Film Competition for emerging filmmakers of colour, this film shares an important message for all Canadians.
