ANAK
awarded its annual Liwayway Scholarship for Leadership Excellence to
recent high school graduate Jessica Espiritu (St. Mary’s Academy). An
honourable mention was also awarded to Princesca Marynelle Reyes (Garden City
Collegiate) and an essay honourable mention was awarded to Lara Madelaine Solis
(Maples Collegiate). All took part in a city-wide competition which included
both an extensive essay and group interview. We at ANAK would like to thank all
those who applied and we wish you the best as you continue to grow into young
Filipino-Canadian leaders!
