Bahay Kubo 2010 celebrates young authors

ANAK volunteers, DMCI mentors, and Wellington students (Grades K-6) came together in May/June for a 6 week workshop on Tagalog/English reading and creative writing. Children authored their very own legends and stories! Whatwould you do if you found a magic coin? How did the cat get its meow or the mermaid its' tail? The possibilities are endless as participants were eager to let us know. Participants and teachers will receive an anthology of their works.
